Today we launch J.J. Amarguito, a fortified citrus wine produced with fruit from Rancho el Mogor in Valle de Guadalupe, Baja California. This orange wine is made from a variety of different blood oranges and then lightly fortified with grape brandy. Amarguito means "slightly bitter" making this an amazing aperitif whether chilled or on ice.
It`s always amazing when seemingly randomly you run across one of your products far, far from its origin. It makes you think and thank the portfolio manager who had the vision to bring the product in, the sales rep who made the sale, the store buyer who gave it a chance and the delivery driver for actually getting it there. It`s a long channel but well greased it does wonders. Diega verde in Hilltop Red Apple Market in Seattle @casa_diega @anw.wine.spirits
